Am at Discount Tire. Is this true? ?

I had. To put Fix a Flat sealant in it to get it here. Now they are stating that w/new way that they have of plugging or patching hole, that they cannot repair it w/out it becoming flat again? They state that the liquid of fix a flat will not allow patch to stay on and it would eventually go flat again, is this true?|||They either don't know how, or just don't want to do the work.

Telling you they can't fix it isn't really to get you to buy a new tire, it's to limit the company's liability if the trained monkeys get it wrong.|||i used fix flat and then i dismounted the tire/washed it out/let it dry and cleaned with mineral spirits inside with a rag/dried it and put plug in it from auto parts store and ran it again no problem/i did all the cleaning my self and had them mount and dismount tire on rim|||Yes. Without completly removing ALL of the liquid, the patch will not hold.|||Read the can. Once you use Fix-a-Flat the tire is no longer repairable.|||it's true
