wanting to get some new tires for our Buick RENDEZVOUS, its front wheel drive, and don't know of any good off brand from discount tire, make in US ....... any thoughts...........|||Kumho is a reliable, up and coming tires that a lot of sports car owners choose when they look at Z or ZR rated tires. At the same time, Goodyear has always safe, long-lasting tires that give a comfortable ride. FWIW...|||Dont buy anything w/o reading Consumer Reports.
As for You get what you pay for, I had to laugh.
That's the oldest con sellers run on buyers, as if hi price = hi quality.
How cheap were Ford Explorers, Merc Mountaineer and their Firestones?
Then there's the Lexus's being recalled, etc etc.
You wana see the Get what you pay for myth exposed, read CR.|||You get what you pay for. If you have lots of snow where you are I would suggest cheap snow tires for the winter, otherwise buy decent all season tires , they will last longer than cheap tires|||Michilin brand is always the best. Little price though.
